This is the card I made for my hubby's birthday this year. He shares his birthday with the anniversay of the first moon landing, July 20th and he still talks about watching it on TV as a little kid. Wow, that makes us old doesn't it?
I used the Cricut Going Places cart for the earth and Camp Out for the moon. The rocket and little background stars are stamps by Technique Tuesday from the Rocket Man set. The flourish is by Lizzie Anne designs, So Swirly set. The ink I used for the stars and also rubbed on the background paper is called Platinum Planet from Tsukineko, one of the Brilliance collection.
He seemed to get a kick out of it. He still has it displayed in the dining room for all to see!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
