I wanted this cartridge as soon as I saw it, but was gonna wait until it wasn't an HSN exclusive. Well, I caved and ordered it from them anyway knowing full well it will be probably be available everywhere in a few months and be much cheaper. Sigh, I have no will power! Anyway, I do love it and here is the first card I've used it for.
Almost all my cards are A2, so 5.5" X 4.25" in case you were wondering. The background paper is from October Afternoon, the Thrift Shop stack. A 3.25" square was stitched onto the background paper before it was attached to the card base. I got a Janome Sew Mini last time they were on sale at Hancock Fabrics, and I really like it. Only drawback I've found with it so far is that it doesn't have a light. The Lacy Labels Lite cart, label #9, was used for the white label. It was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. All three layers were inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The bird is from 3 Birds on Parade and was cut at 3". Except for the background piece, all the paper used was scraps. The "for you" was cut at 2" and is from the Sweethearts cartridge. Added my usual doodling and though you can't tell, the flower centers are yellow Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by!
