After spending hours organizing my scraps this weekend, I had some time to actually create something. As for the scraps, I found a rolling hanging file holder. I was looking for something without a lid and this is perfect because it rolls right under my desk. So now my scraps are all organized by color in individual file folders and all is good, for now!
Now for the card... I made this with this weekends Circle challenge in mind. The challenge was to use a cartridge you own but haven't used. I'm happy to say, with the exception of some new ones, I don't have too many I haven't used at least once. Anyway, I went one better and used a stamp set I haven't used yet either.

The
Santa is a stamp from
Stampin Up's Jolly Old St. Nick set. I colored it with
Copic markers. His hat band and pom
pon were heat embossed with Ranger
Seafoam White embossing powder. His mustache and beard were highlighted with a Twinkles Writer by
DecoArt. The tag was cut from the
Cricut Trim the Tree cart at 5". The top layer was covered with Holly
Stickles. A button from the Michael's dollar bin was added with some Martha Stewart baker's twine. The sentiment stamp is from Scrappy Moms. It was stamped with
Momento Tuxedo Black then traced over with a
Copic Glitter marker in black. The bottom layer of the card was machine stitched with red thread.

I enjoyed working on this card and I think I'm ready to start getting some more Christmas cards made!
Thanks for stopping by!
Maria
